Greenpeace has made some of the iipmworld’s best see red. Companies like HP, Sony, Nokia, Samsung, LG & Ericsson have successfully come into Greenpeace good books, but companies like Apple, Dell, IBM, Lenovo, Siemens & Toshiba have got themselves caught on the wrong side. HCL is now a new entrant to this list of defamed companies. Bad publicity of course is the most apparent fall out. Moreover, if all companies slowly start falling in line, there could be pressure on Indian government to ensure compliance for Indian manufacturers. Certainly HCL has to take a proactive approach to clean up its act.
